Grey Bones
Even with nature
They are nearly skeletal now
Dead flames beneath upright branches
Ravens glossy black
Flip their wings in silent vigil
Bones left and another generation passes
Scales have tipped
'Quid pro quo' is nature's motto
And for a time, all is right with the world
They are nearly skeletal now
Dead flames beneath upright branches
Ravens glossy black
Flip their wings in silent vigil
Bones left and another generation passes
Scales have tipped
'Quid pro quo' is nature's motto
And for a time, all is right with the world
